smbd_open_once_socket: open_socket_in: Address already in use
OS: Debian 6.0.2.1 clean install
Just installed Samba 3.5.6 and samba won't get up.
Samba log file says: smbd_open_once_socket: open_socket_in: Address already in use
Dirty hack: globally disable IPv6.
In Debian:
echo net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6=1 > /etc/sysctl.d/disableipv6.conf
